September is World Alzheimer’s month and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) is running a campaign called ‘Remember Me’ in which they are asking people on World Alzheimer’s Day, 21st September to share on social media a favourite photo and short message that captures how they would like to be remembered. 

There’s also a ‘Remember Me’ page on the Join Dementia Research website that provides examples and describes in easy terms how to do this.

It would fantastic if you could share a photo and message that captures how you would like to be remembered for the webpage, as well as tweet it on 21st September.  Here’s my ‘Remember Me.’ 

 ‘I would like to be remembered as someone who listened and encouraged others to listen. Only by listening can we begin to help our family, friends, neighbours and the stranger in need.’
