I am sure some of you may have seen or heard this story from this morning. The World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) have rightly used statistics showing the higher incidence of cancer among women in Britain compared to other EU countries, to do a bit of a wake-up call to us all about what we can do in terms of diet, physical health and taking better care of ourselves to mitigate the risk.
WCRF do this sort of thing well. They are a winner of a previous Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) for their 2008-2009 annual report ‘Tomorrow’s Futures,’ and brought out a seminal report on the issues of cancer prevention in 2007.
