Brain science across the EU

I am posting this just because I thought it was a thoroughly absorbing and interesting overview of what is happening in brain science across the European Union (EU) and how mental health reseach will be positively impacted by the European Commission’s recently announced resarch funding reforms: Máire Geoghegan-Quinn Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science Brain Research: Speech by Máire Geoghegan-Quinn at Hungarian Academy of Sciences Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

It is some time since I posted about mental health research.  But for those interested, Mental Health Reseach UK now convenes a regular meeting of smaller mental health research charities which AMRC attends and I understand th discussions there are proving helpful in identifying the issues and helping to improve co-ordination and co-operation.
