I’ll keep this brief because I’m not a great fan of talking about myself!

In case you didn’t catch up with the news yesterday, here is the announcement that I shall be leaving AMRC shortly to become Chief Executive at Ovarian Cancer Action .  I am very excited about this move to head-up the leading charity dedicated to research into ovarian cancer and an AMRC member of course.

Also yesterday, NIHR announced that I shall be taking over from Sir Nick Partridge as Chair of INVOLVE – the national advisory group for the promotion and support of public involvement in health, social care and public health research.  A real privilege to have been asked, and you can find the announcement here.

And don’t worry, we have a cunning plan about my blog, to be revealed in due course.
